WEST WINDSOR — Two women were charged Thursday with promoting prostitution at a West Windsor massage parlor.

Yuzhu Zhou, 51, and Ying Lin, 42, both of Flushing, N.Y., were arrested at 3:15 p.m. Thursday when the West Windsor Police Department, assisted by the Mercer County prosecutor’s office Special Investigations Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigations, issued a search warrant at Asran House Massage Therapy.

The arrests are the result of a month-long investigation that was started in response to several citizen complaints regarding allegations of prostitution at the 55 Princeton-Hightstown Road establishment.

Ms. Zhou was charged with two counts of promoting prostitution and one count of maintaining a nuisance for running the operation at the site. Ms. Lin was charged with one count of promoting prostitution.

Both women were released on their own recognizance.
The arrests are the second such incident since March when the Princeton Township Police Department charged three women at the Sunny Garden Spa located near the intersection of Route 206 and Cherry Valley Road.

At the time, a confidential informant tipped off township police that acts of prostitution were being performed during massage sessions at the spa.

Two of the women, Kuei Hsiang Chang, 39, of Newark, and Chuehdan Namgyal, 35, of Jackson Heights, N.Y., were charged with prostitution. The owner of the spa, Yang Chen Paima, 40, of Jackson Heights, was charged with promoting prostitution.

" The citizen complaint was probably filed by some 4000 pound house wife who's husband kept coming home with a big smile on his face with empty pockets...... "

" The mayor finally uses his political contacts to generate a sustaining business and poof. Up in smoke goes the fledgling program. At least you can't blame the council for not trying to spread the word. On election day you should do the right thing. Dump Corzine or WW becomes a bigger dump. There were two massage parlors on Princeton Highstown Road. Which was was this? "

" Yeah, too many busy beavers sticking their noses in someone else's affairs. What's wrong with someone being able to discreeetly go and relief their stress!? By the way, not everyone can get a wife or a girlfriend. So, are they less worthy of some happiness and satisfaction. It is a very oppresive society that dictates otherwise. "

" Agreed. It's not as though these ladies are working the corner working and yelling "hey, Solja boy" to every passer bye. They're keeping things discreet and bringing potential business to the community (handy followed by Chinese buffet, oil change and trip to Kinko's for toner? Amazing and productive afternoon). That's all we can and should ask. Keep it discreet, don't hurt anyone and move on with your day. That applies to anyone, really.
But no. Not here. Pretty much not anywhere in our society save Vegas. All because parents are too uncomfortable to tell their children its a "grown up place" or a "medical office" or old people suddenly want to thump the bible in the name of 'common decency.' "

Lucky wrote on Nov 3, 2009 8:52 AM:

" Let them be. Who is the citizen complaining? Really? Focus on something else more productive in your life. It's not harming anyone else. Do we really need to waste our tax dollars on having a month long investigation to a couple of old creeps getting handies in Hightstown? I think there are lot more important things our cops can be focusing on. "
