Summer is the perfect time to experience Public Art. Join us for an evening that explores 2 different artists work and will inspire us to venture out this season in discovery. We begin with Walking on Water, a new documentary about the latest exhibit/production by Christo, the renowned installation artist who transforms environments into experiential artwork, on an epic scale.

Then, local artist, Ray King will join us as we screen a series of short films of his work, with discussion to follow. King uses the natural phenomena of light as it interacts with glass and optics as an art medium. His luminous sculptures act as optical instruments, projecting and reflecting light and color into the surrounding environment. All are site-specific and inspired by the location and landscape to create a unique sense of place and identity.
