Girls Empowered in the Medical Sciences, also called GEMS, is a series of immersive medical experiences for middle school girls, intending to give our future generation a well-rounded approach to the medical field.

Our first event is titled “GEMS: What is the Medical Field Anyway?” and is taking place at the Monmouth County Headquarters Library on July 13th, 2019 from 9:30 am-12: 30 pm. In this experience, the leaders of tomorrow will learn about the diverse members of the medical support team, the fascinating specialties a doctor can pursue, and hear from two medical professionals. This is an exceptional opportunity for Middle School Students, and I encourage them to register using this link: http://www.wearehames.com/gems.html
