Pegasus Theater NJ is proud to present Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile at the Henderson Theater at Christian Brothers Academy.

Martin’s 1993 comedy, updated in 2017, portrays a fictional meeting between the greatest scientific and artistic minds of the twentieth century. Unbeknownst to them, a 25-year-old Albert Einstein is about to publish his groundbreaking theory of relativity, and a 23-year-old Pablo Picasso is about to create his groundbreaking painting Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. At the Lapin Agile, a bohemian watering hole in 1904 Paris, Einstein and Picasso’s discussions of art, science, and philosophy are as comical as they are thought-provoking.

Performances will take place on Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13 at 7pm and Sunday, July 14 at 2pm. The Henderson Theater is located on the Christian Brothers Academy campus (850 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, NJ). Tickets are $15 and can be reserved by calling 732-907-PEGA (7342) or emailing pegasustheaternj@gmail.com.
