   Kelly Janokowicz finished bruised and muddied, but thrilled to have helped the Hillsborough High girls cross country team wins its first Skyland Conference Championships on Friday.
   This been one of the quirkiest seasons that Hillsborough High School girls soccer coach Lee Ann Best can remember.
   The Hillsborough High field hockey team is finishing its season ideally, at a much higher level than where it began.

   Brittany Marcsisin doesn’t recall how she did at the Skyland Conference Gymnastics Championships last year.
   Julianna Miller is in her second year as the consistent No. 2 runner for the Hillsborough High girls cross country team, but individual place isn’t the focus of the junior.

POLITICS: Democratic officials ponder life with a GOP governor

" I don't expect Democratic municipal officials to be happy but I would prefer they not be stupid. For the good of their towns --not to mention the state-- they need a cooperative relationship with this governor. As for Democratic state legislators-- they barely cooperated with a Democratic governor so I'm not holding my breath. "

" The corruption is pandemic in the State of NJ. One can hope iwith new LT Gov who is a sheriff and new Attorney General rather then the corrupt Jon Corzine and Anne MIlgram who did NOT enforce NJ criminal codes against corrupt officials that things can only improve. "
