Republican challenger Kim Johnson landed a seat on the Hopewell Township Committee, defeating Democratic incumbent David Dafilou. Ms. Johnson had 3,266 votes to 3,043 for Mr. Dafilou.

A leader of the opposition to Mercer County’s plans for replacing the Jacobs Creek Bridge has prevailed in his effort to get a copy of a historic bridge alternatives analysis report compiled for the county by an area engineering firm, Keller and Kirkpatrick.
