Mackenzie Gallon of Manalapan has been named to the president’s list (minimum GPA of 3.9) at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., for the 2019 spring semester. Mackenzie is majoring in communication studies.

Emily Long of Freehold Township, the daughter of Greg and Susan Long, graduated from the University of Delaware, Newark, Del., with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Emily was also named to the dean’s list for the 2019 spring semester.

Widener University, Chester, Pa., has announced the following graduates: Tiffany Marra of Morganville, Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies Sex Education from Widener’s School of Human Service Professions; Douglas Keller of Manalapan, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Widener’s School of Engineering; and Joseph Tang of Manalapan, Bachelor of Science in Computer Information System from Widener’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., has announced the following graduates: Mia Malkin of Freehold graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in speech language pathology and audiology; Brandon Enny of Marlboro graduated with a Bachelor of Science in integrated marketing communications; and Kara Karpinski of Morganville graduated with a Bachelor of Science in television-radio.

Caitlin MacCutcheon of Freehold has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester at the State University of New York, New Paltz, N.Y.

Drew University, Madison, awarded degrees to graduates of its College of Liberal Arts, Theological School and Caspersen School of Graduate Studies at its 2019 Commencement, including Brianne Siegel of Marlboro and Robert DePalma of Morganville.

Kushagr Singh of Manalapan earned the distinction of faculty honors for spring 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga. The designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 4.0 academic average for the semester.

The following students have been named to the dean’s List at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga., for Spring 2019: Aviva Kern of Manalapan and Kevin Rittenbach of Freehold.

Alexis Janoczkin of Freehold Township graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science with a minor in chemistry and Spanish from Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C. She has been accepted into medical school and will be attending Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Lake Erie, Pa. Alexis is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is a graduate of Freehold Township High School and is the daughter of Donna Swenticky. She was named to the president’s list (4.0 GPA) for the 2019 spring semester.

The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list (GPA of 3.5 or higher) or the president’s list (4.0 GPA) for the 2019 spring term: Courtney Sager of Colts Neck, president’s list; Paige Risley of Freehold, president’s list; Jordan Clark of Manalapan, dean’s list; and Taylor Sclafani of Colts Neck, dean’s list.

The University of Hartford, West Hartford, Conn., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for Spring 2019: Perry Rocco of Colts Neck, Andrew D’Alba of Manalapan and Julie Wallerstein of Manalapan.

Jolie Rosenthal of Manalapan has been named to the dean’s list at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., for earning high honors for the 2019 spring semester. Jolie is majoring in occupational therapy.

Kimberly Gilmartin of Freehold graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and finance from Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa.

Carly Press of Colts Neck graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical science and a minor in mathematics from Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa.
