Nominations sought for Ann Marie Chandlee Heritage Day Award

People make their way along the grounds of Heritage Day held at Babbage Park in North Brunswick on September 29. The annual event included rides, games, entertainment and vendors from throughout the area.

Each year, the North Brunswick Township Heritage Day Committee solicits nominations for the Ann Marie Chandlee Heritage Day Award.

The award recognizes a volunteer for his/her commitment to a non-profit group or civic organization for an extended period of time, someone that signifies the true spirit of volunteerism, a resident dedicated to improving the quality of life within North Brunswick.

This person will be honored at the 37th annual North Brunswick Township Heritage Day on Oct. 5 at the evening concert prior to the fireworks.

For more information, contact the North Brunswick Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services at 732-247-0922, ext. 475 or send your submission to
