Peapack-Gladstone Financial Corporation (NASDAQ Global Select Market: PGC) and Peapack-Gladstone Bank have presented a donation of $3,030.00 to Teams for Kids Foundation, Inc. made on behalf of its employees, clients and friends. Leonardo Scotti, Long Valley resident and student at Seton Hall Preparatory School, accepted the donation at the Bank’s Bedminster Headquarters to support the organization’s efforts in providing the necessary funding to allow children from homeless and low-income families within the State of New Jersey to participate in sports programs. The Foundation was originally founded by Abby Bauer of Long Valley whose brother Andrew developed and oversees the Teams for Kids Student Athletic Ambassador Program which was recognized as a 2019 Governor’s Jefferson Award Honoree and Medalist. Through this program, students are offered the opportunity to become further connected to their school and community in supporting the mission of the Teams for Kids Foundation.
Spearheaded by Peapack-Gladstone Bank Retail Administrator, Kate Sant’Angelo, to promote awareness of Teams for Kids and their mission, employees wore jeans and team jerseys while displaying collection receptacles at all its locations. “Peapack-Gladstone Bank was excited to once again partner with the Teams for Kids Foundation to support a cause that raises money for children who, due to financial reasons, are unable to play recreational sports. We are pleased to continue our support for Teams for Kids as they expand their Student Ambassador Program to other areas in New Jersey,” said Kate. Throughout each year through financial contributions, fundraisers, collections and volunteerism, the Bank partners with non-profits and educational institutions providing quality educational programs and recreational opportunities for local youth. Teams for Kids Foundation, Inc., headquartered in Schooleys Mountain, partners with New Jersey homeless shelters, youth sports organizations and town recreational departments to provide underprivileged kids with the same opportunities to enjoy recreational team sports as children who are fortunate enough to afford such programs.
