This past Saturday was championship weekend at Dillon Gym for the Princeton Recreation Dillon Youth Basketball League. Eight teams across four division competed for four championship crowns.
In the Boys 4th/5th Grade Division, Corner House topped Princeton PBA No. 130, 41-40. Corner House was led by Leone Westrick and his 19-point performance. Asher DeLue scored 26 points for PBA No. 130.
In the Boys 6th/7th Grade Division, Lependorf & Silverstein defeated Majeski Foundation, 41-32. Lependorf was led by Tarak Jayachandra with 15 points, while Jihad Jasiri Wilder added 12 points. Majeski was led by Owen Biggs with 17 points.
In the All Grade Girls Division, Princeton Pettoranello held on to defeat Jefferson Plumbing, 20-19, with a balanced team effort. Sneha Kumar and Naomi Fields lead the team with five points apiece. Betaneya Tsegay led the game in scoring with 13 points in a great effort for Jefferson Plumbing.
In the Boys 8th-10th Grade Division, the Spurs topped the Lakers, 49-38, as Jeremy Sallade led the Spurs to victory with a 16-point effort. Spencer Hamilton led the team and the game in scoring for the Lakers with 23 points.
