MANVILLE: Cyclists honor vets with wreaths
National effort acts to remember their sacrifices
Resident Mark Nipps took a long ride on his motorcycle last week not for a joy ride per say but joy for a very good cause.

He and other members of the Manville-Hillsborough Elks Motorcycle Club participated in the Wreath Across America event, which drew 15,000-20,000 people to lay about 210,000 wreaths on the graves of veterans at Arlington National Cemetery on Dec. 13.

Mr. Nipps has been doing this for a few years.

Doggone Fun!
'Monster Jam' in Trenton
FOR Candice Jolly, it would seem that cars and trucks are in her blood.

She started racing go-karts at the age of 8, and moved on to Formula B cars, dragsters, swamp buggies, just about anything with a motor and four wheels. When she was 23 she made the move to the big trucks of Monster Jam.

”I absolutely love everything about ‘Monster Jam,’” Ms. Jolly says. “It’s as family-friendly as sports can get, you can take your children there and you can find something for everybody. And it’s exciting, we get to travel all over the world and get to meet amazing fans in every country. I’ve been in 16 countries and 28 different states with ‘Monster Jam,’ and it’s a new experience at every show.”
