SPRINGFIELD: Firefighters battle blaze at Columbus Farmers Market

SPRINGFIELD — Firefighters from around the county battled a four-alarm blaze at the historic Columbus Farmers Market on Route 206 on Tuesday afternoon.

”It is unknown whether they are going to be able to reopen before the Thanksgiving holiday,” said Chief John Trout of the Juliustown Volunteer Fire Company.

The fire broke out at 2919 Route 206 in Building Four at 2:06 p.m.

Christmas with Trace Adkins
The country star is bringing a new holiday tradition to the State Theatre
Even if you’re not a country music fan, you probably have heard of Trace Adkins and can recognize his trademark baritone voice, which has churned out top hits such as “You’re Gonna Miss This,” “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “Songs About Me.”

In addition to selling more than 10 million albums, Mr. Adkins was the winner of Donald Trump’s All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, has performed for seven USO Tours, voiced the recurring character of Elvin on King of the Hill and regularly acts as a voiceover artist.

Just as he did last year, Mr. Adkins is taking a break from his normal concert schedule to embark on a special Christmas tour, which will be stopping at the State Theatre in New Brunswick on Nov. 18. It’s a new holiday tradition the country star says is one of the best decisions he has ever made.
