August 5, 2019 – Flemington, NJ - Grape Finale Hands-On Winery is pleased to announce 45 wines made at Grape Finale were awarded medals at the 2019 American Wine Society / New Jersey State Fair Wine Competition “The Garden State Wine Challenge.”
Double Gold Medal Winners:
Barbera, 2015, made with grapes from the Suisun Valley, CACarménère, 2017, made with grapes from Colchagua, Chile
Gold Medal Winner:
Opus Blend, 2017, made with grapes from the Suisun Valley, CA
Forty-two (42) other small batch red and white wines made at Grape Finale were awarded Silver and Bronze medals. Grape Finale wines have an impressive track record having earned a total of 174 medals and 7 titles since 2013.

At the Garden State Wine Challenge wines were evaluated using the UC Davis 20 Point Scoring System and judging was overseen by American Wine Society certified judges and professional trade experts. Wines with an overall point score representative of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Double Gold (unanimous gold by the judges) were awarded medals.
