Angie’s Luncheonette Opening

When a fire destroyed Angie’s Luncheonette in Bordentown last year, many locals wondered if the restaurant would ever return.

The popular eatery, known for its breakfast and lunch options, had been a staple in the community for years.

While the fire was a major setback, the owners have now announced exciting news.

They plan to rebuild in Bordentown and open a second location in Yardville.

The announcement came on February 21 through the restaurant’s social media page.

According to the post, “Angie’s Luncheonette 2” will soon open in Dover Park Plaza, a shopping center located at the intersection of Sunnybrae Boulevard and South Broad Street in Yardville.

This plaza is already home to several businesses, including CVS Pharmacy, Carvel, Sun Lok Garden, and Performance Strength Academy.

Angie’s Luncheonette will be moving into the space that previously housed Yogi’s.

As for what customers can expect at the new location, the restaurant will be open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

It will also offer a drive-thru for convenient order pickups.

This expansion comes after a devastating fire destroyed the original location in Bordentown on October 22, 2024.

The fire broke out around 3:50 AM, and multiple fire departments responded to the scene.

Firefighters from the following departments worked together to put out the flames:

  • Consolidated Fire Association
  • Chesterfield Township Fire Department
  • Mission Fire Co. #1
  • Hamilton Fire Division
  • Trenton Fire Department
  • Derby Fire Co. from Bordentown Township
  • Florence Township Fire Department
  • Franklin Fire Co. #1 of Mansfield

Although no one was injured, the building was severely damaged and had to be torn down.

Since then, the Bordentown community has come together to support the restaurant, organizing fundraisers to help the owners recover from the loss.

Many customers have been eagerly waiting for updates, hoping that Angie’s Luncheonette would return.

In response, the owners recently confirmed that they are actively working on rebuilding the original Park Street location.

While they have not yet shared an official timeline, they made it clear that bringing Angie back to Bordentown is a priority.

For now, the focus is on opening the new Yardville location and starting to serve customers again while the rebuilding process in Bordentown continues.

This means loyal customers who have missed Angie’s will soon have a place to enjoy their favorite meals again, even before the original location is restored.

As things progress, more updates on both locations will be shared on the restaurant’s social media pages.
