Penny E. Reed, 65, of Hamilton, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Born in Hamilton, Penny has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Steinert High School, Class of 1977. She went on to work for the State of New Jersey for 35 years as a data entry clerk, retiring in 2014.
Penny enjoyed spending time at the beach, with her toes in the sand reading a book.
Predeceased by her parents, James D. and Joan K. Reed; and her brother, James D. Reed, Jr.; she is survived by her children, Alexsis J. Stewart, Jeremy T. Stewart and Samantha L. Pieslak and her husband, Jason; her grandchildren, Valerie, Kaidlee, Jaxson, Rylan and Aliyah; her siblings, Roxanne Mayti, Wendy Gregory, Terri Reed and Joy Lockwood; her sister-in-law, Karen; her 7 nieces; her 5 nephews; her 12 great-nieces; and her 6 great-nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Words of remembrance will be offered by the family at 6:00 p.m.
Cremation services will be held privately.
