A Kenvil man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and other motor vehicle violations at 12:20 a.m. on May 16. A police officer stopped to investigate a BMW X3 that was parked on the shoulder of Pennington Road with its hazard lights flashing, and found the driver asleep at the wheel. The man was processed and released.

A Trenton man was arrested on an active warrant following a traffic stop on Pennington Road on May 15. He was processed and released.

A Hopewell Borough business reported an incident of theft and fraud after a check that had been mailed to a vendor was determined to have been stolen. The thief altered the check from $430.09 to $5,000 and cashed it. The incident was reported May 15.

Tools and equipment valued at $4,220.94 were reported stolen from a locked storage box at a job site on the Hopewell-Princeton Road between May 9 and May 13. It may have been entered by using a key because there were no signs of forced entry.

A Trenton man was arrested on an active traffic warrant from Lawrence Township on May 11. Police responded to a disturbance on Aaron Truehart Way, but one of the people involved in the incident had left the scene in a gold Chevrolet Impala sedan. Police located the vehicle and discovered that the driver was wanted on a warrant. He was processed and turned over to the Lawrence Township Police Department.

A Louis Vuitton wallet, containing cash, credit cards and personal papers, was reported stolen from an office at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell Campus on May 7. The victim left her office for a short time and when she returned, she discovered the wallet and its contents were missing. The items totaled $3,083.87 in value.

A Pennington man was arrested on active warrants May 7. He was wanted on an active National Crime Information Center warrant from Mercer County for receiving a stolen vehicle and an additional warrant from East Brunswick Township. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

Two vehicles parked on Forge Circle were burglarized overnight between May 5 and May 6. Nothing was reported missing from one vehicle, but a backpack containing an Apple iPad, Ray Ban sunglasses and other items, valued at $743, were reported stolen from the second vehicle.
