A 23-year-old Pennington man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane after he was stopped by police on Washington Road for weaving at 1:45 a.m. June 10. He was processed and released.
A 51-year-old Princeton man was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident after he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole on Cherry Hill Road at 5:44 a.m. June 6. He got out of his vehicle before police arrived, and was found by officers on Cherry Hill Road near Foulet Drive. He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving and unsafe lane change. He was processed and released.
A Westcott Road resident reported the theft of a package, valued at $336.90, from his front porch on June 6.
A Library Place resident reported that someone entered his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of his home at 4:39 a.m. June 5. Surveillance video showed a man pulling on the door handle of a locked vehicle in the driveway. Nothing was reported missing.
Two vehicles were entered between June 2 and June 5 while they were parked in the owner’s driveway on Westcott Road. The vehicles were unlocked. A medical bag, valued at $150, was the only item reported missing.
A vandal was caught on surveillance video damaging a surveillance camera mounted on a building on Hulfish Street at 1:47 a.m. May 30. Damage to the equipment was valued at $2,372.41 in the incident, which was reported June 3.
A burglar entered an unlocked vehicle while it was parked in its owner’s driveway on Library Place overnight between June 2 and June 3. Nothing was reported missing.
A victim reported the theft of four company checks that were deposited and cashed, resulting in a loss of $6,694. The theft was reported June 3.
