“Moms deserve a little pampering on Mother’s Day weekend. Mothers that visit the winery tasting room on both days will be pampered with a complimentary tasting flight that includes a sampling of five of Terhune Orchards Vineyards red, white and fruit-based wines,” said Pam Mount, the owner of Terhune Orchards. “Light fare to accompany wines by the glass include cheese plates.”

She said the whole family is welcome in the winery barn and courtyard to enjoy the sunshine and farm views.

“The farm trail meandering through preserved farmlands is open to walk and talk with your favorite mother all weekend. Take in the views of flowering trees and fields bursting with life,” Mount said. “The barnyard and children’s play area is also open to let the children play and explore life on the farm. We have new spring additions, baby chicks.”

She said potted herbs, vegetable plants, flowering baskets and flats of annual flowers grown in the Terhune Orchards greenhouse are great gifts for Mothers Day.

“Bottles of wine and sweet treats are available in the farm store,” Mount said.

According to Mount, the weekly Sounds of Spring Music Series will continue on May 12 in the winery barn.

“Local musicians of Kingston Ridge will be performing from 1- 4 p.m.,” she said.
