Albert E. Butler, Sr., 76, of Lawrenceville, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his home in Lawrence, NJ.
Born in Belize, Albert came to the USA in 1996, settling in Brooklyn, New York. He worked in construction with the Barry Herrs construction company of New York for over 15 years. Albert and his family then came to New Jersey 15 years ago.
Albert enjoyed returning to Belize every few years to spend time with family. For him, there was no greater blessing than being surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert E. and Enda (Hemsley) Butler; and his siblings, Ruth Middleton Theus, Coralee Butler Adolphus, and Lloyd Butler; he is survived by his wife, Ophelia (Young) Butler; his children and their spouses, Arlene and Roy Hamilton, Andrea and Russell Ballenger, Angelene Butler, Albert, Jr. and Cassandra Butler, Earlin Butler, and Karla Butler; his siblings and their families, Rudyford, Davidson, Micheal and Kenneth Butler, Vetaline Butler Thompson, Vernette Butler Garbutt, Dorla Butler Williams, Sherylyn Butler Locke, and Sharon Butler Barrow; his 11 grandchildren; and his many great grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:45 p.m.
Cremation services were held privately.
